On Her Terms with Nikki Elledge Brown

💧using tears as a treasure map [OHT 061]

A musing inspired by a carpool conversation on dental procedures *and a client reflection that made me cry like a Pixar baby.

Hypothesis / observation: Tears are like a treasure map to who you are and what we're here to do. What we care about. What brings us to life.

It's helpful to consider that in real time when we're crying (or with / loving someone who is).

The Qs for consideration:

What are the moments, memories, and movies that bring a heart-opening tear to your eye? What are the patterns and common themes?

How are those showing up in how you design your days, weeks, months, years?

Hi 👋 I'm Nikki (Elledge Brown).

Writer, podcaster, and creative advisor for brilliant women who love their work, their people, and their alone time.

As a professional overthinker who believes strongly in INTEGRITY > BALANCE, it's my nerdy pleasure to create and share tools, questions, and frameworks that make it easier to feel good about how we’re showing up — on paper and in practice.

Around here, living like a whole human is the way.

That's what we call On Her Terms® living.
