Having the courage to speak up and call the ball - to publicly claim that you trust yourself enough to handle whatever comes next - can be a literal game-changer.
Consider that those who speak up (loudest, first, etc) are often perceived as leaders... even if they don't know what they're talking about ;)
Use your influence for (subjectively defined) good and give yourself a chance to get in the game.
